The Clindox App has been designed to support the rapidly growing adoption of Decentralized and Hybrid clinical trial methodologies. Not only can these approaches often be more cost-effective, they are naturally better suited to conducting trials on many lower risk class devices, or devices that require regular interaction with, or manipulation by the subject.

The Clindox App allows subjects to provide data via CRFWEB eDiary and ePRO functionality using their own mobile device.

Secure, role-based access also means that the Clindox App can used directly by site staff (clinical and non-clinical) for electronic Clinical Outcomes Assessment (eCOA) functions (see explainer box below).

Data entry is available in offline mode for situations where internet connectivity is a challenge, for example, during outpatient visits. Data is automatically uploaded when a viable connection is next available.
